Lol, I still haven't placed in one of their contests, but man, I still love doing them!

Lol, the entries that they do pick are seriously always the best!

I love to see what other people do... I am devoted to entering pretty much all of their contests, for the fun of it!

Have dragonized several horses before, this was interesting. I had no horse to base it off of, so I decided to really emphasize the horse aspect in the dragon's design. Since it was a cold-weather critter, I needed some thick fur as well as tough scales to protect his/her delicate belly. I added in the mane and horns to emphasize the back of the neck and tail, as those are two key elements in a wild horse. Large feet with hoof-like claws as well as furring on the backs of the legs went along with the rough-it horse look (OmgSkyrimhorses). I noticed that lots of people did feathered wings, so I mixed it up a bit and used both feathers and leather. I found that leathery wings would serve fine because the upper parts are darker and therefore absorb the sun's radiant heat!

The horse was just an extra, showing how the design could then be converted to a steed. It's a bulky, heavily built horse with similar elements to the dragon. It's a greyish appaloosa, 'cause they are so dang purty, and... yup!
